Alonso Group has renewed its sponsorship with Algeciras C.F., one of the most important sponsorships it currently maintains in the sports field. Specifically, the holding company, through SAM Algeciras, supports the different categories of the Andalusian team for children and youth. All this is a support to the future promises of the sport and, likewise, it is an unequivocal initiative to support local projects where the different facilities of Alonso Group are located.
This action is part of Alonso’s Corporate Social Responsibility Area (CSR), whose philosophy is to support young athletes and promote values such as companionship, the culture of effort, teamwork, sports practice and self-improvement.
SAM Algeciras, a reference within the hinterland of the port of Algeciras
SAM Algeciras, a multimodal logistics platform located just over a kilometer from the port of Algeciras, is one of the most important companies in Alonso’s Group logistics division. Its proximity to the Andalusian region and its hinterland, as well as its good land and rail connections, give the company a privileged position.
The port of Algeciras, one of the most important in the southern Mediterranean, has regular connections with the most important ports in the world that handle all types of goods. In addition, the Andalusian enclosure serves as a gateway for all goods arriving from South and Central America as well as perishable goods from the Maghreb countries.

In addition to the players wearing the holding company’s brand on the back of their kits, the sponsorship includes the presence of Alonso’s Group logo on the stadium’s video scoreboard as well as on the photocall in the press room. Also at the entrance of the soccer stadium, through one of the access gates, there is also a sign of the brand.
