This is the best known global standard for ensuring food safety and security throughout the supply chain. With this certification, customers can be assured of total control of food products during the loading and unloading, storage, distribution and transport stages.
Certification that accredits to SAM Algeciras as a reliable and secure economic operator, established in the customs territory of the European Union, which, within the framework of its professional activities, carries out activities regulated by customs legislation.
This certification, in addition to guaranteeing greater security in the supply chain, provides benefits such as: fewer physical inspections, centralised national clearance and simplified customs procedures.

This certification guarantees that the products have been produced or processed according to organic certification standards, and that they have been controlled throughout the production, preparation, packaging and marketing processes.
SAM Algeciras is certified as a distributor of organic products, which allows it to store and distribute goods with an organic seal.
The export of products of animal origin to non-EU countries is subject to compliance with various requirements, as required by each third country of destination, relating to hygiene, animal health, traceability and animal welfare.
SAM Algeciras has an Export Self-Control System, certified by Bureau Veritas, within the scope of Royal Decree 993/2014, which guarantees compliance with the requirements demanded by the third countries for which it is authorised.
The concession granted to SAM Algeciras by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food allows it to carry out cold treatments and phytosanitary inspections for the export of plants and plant products to third countries at its facilities.
The Sanitary Registry is an authorisation granted by the administration, which guarantees compliance with the necessary hygiene conditions for the storage and transport of foodstuffs in accordance with EC Regulation 835/2004.
